Advocacy
For over 20 years, CharBee's BeeVangelists have raised pollinator awareness by hosting events, shaping local policies, and presenting at diverse venues. By partnering with organizations, we've changed thousands of views on bees through our talks, workshops, and lectures.
Education
We celebrate every bee, not just honey-makers, and teach about all bee species and hive types—Stacked Box, Top Bar, Slovenian AZ, Layens, Long Langs, Flow Hives, and Warré. Pollinators thrive in all kinds of nests; what matters is your connection with them. Join our guest talks, small classes, or hands-on workshops—covering solitary and honey bees. Products
People keep bees for many reasons, and there is no universal beehive. We specialize in various hive styles and will help you choose the right one. Whether you’re seeking pollinators for your plants, wish to help bee populations, or enjoy honey or mead, we have a hive for you.
Practice
We help individuals and organizations in SE Wisconsin procure and manage hives, currently hosting about 30 and assisting hundreds to get started. We’ve invented new hive types, created tools and procedures, and developed educational videos, curriculums, articles, and illustrations.
Buzz Love
. We cross-pollinate the grassroots finding ways to advocate and educate. We engage congregations, festivals, country clubs and governmental agencies... we teach in classrooms, farmers markets, office functions, church services, concerts, festivals and sporting events. We do honey tastings, dinners, parades, candle dippings, honey spins salve making classes, movie nights. Whatever it takes.
